Nothing will come through the speakers as you’ve turned off your soundcard don’t worry, it’s only turned off in Ableton Live. I have ASIO drivers on my RME Babyface, and will use if necessary the headphone output to record which is what that is also made for – on both amps and the other amp is not a Fender. In AL, click preferences and then the ‘Audio’ tab. Just make sure you’ve nothing running in the background that plays sound. Not that I’ve seen. I have Live 7 and don’t have that icon.

There is a very good chance you will continue to have problems until you walk through the whole process and make notes along the way.

The names of everything might be different to mine depending on the soundcard you have but you can play around turning things on and off and use the ‘Test Tone’ to check. Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site.

On the assumption that you have a Realtek chip in your laptop, you will probably get best performance in WDM mode playback only. I have downloaded the fender universal asio driver, but still no joy.

I advised to turn in off in my previous post so you could ,ustang, but you have to turn in back on again to listen to what you played or listen to anything through Ableton Live.

Not sure about that, but that whole episode wrecked my afternoon on my computer, looking at the instructions which do not tell you that you need ASIO drivers for the USB connection anyway with Fender at all. This worked fine on my old PC with windows 7, but the amp isn’t showing up as ii recording device on windows If I were you, I would get a camera and when you get Fuse running play a chord and take a good clear picture of the screen.

ASIO driver problem – Microsoft Community

Does anyone know of a solution?? February 19, No sound comes from the computer, I have to either plug into an amp, a monitor, or use headphones from the pedal to hear what I am doing TheCasual on February 17, Also, hover your cursor over the ‘Mustang Amplifier’ option in the list and wait for the popup box to come up.

For me, though, I can only have the main Audio In on otherwise I can’t record. Did this solve your problem?
